A Taste of Home

We have been blessed these past few weeks with our first visitors from back home in Wisconsin!  Both the Daniels Family and the older Hebbe boys came to not only partner with us in ministry but also to refresh and pour encouragement into our souls.  We felt so blessed to be loved from home "in person".

Leaving or left behind....I don't know which one is harder?  Leaving those home behind or letting those back home go.  We have now experienced both sides and are reminded that like church, home is not about the place but about the people.  Whether we are the ones leaving or watching others go, the loss that is felt from their presence is real and painful.  Nothing can change that except what we choose as our perspective.  We are to keep eternity in our view.  We are choosing to be thankful for the time God gave us recognizing that the quality of our time, a deeper intimacy, versus the quantity of our time is what is most important.  God's heart and character are reflected in relationships.  It's value is the eternal impact those relationships have every day on the Kingdom of God.  Thank you dear friends for impacting our lives with the love and encouragement of the Father as you support us here and from afar.
